  1.  or Northern Ladle or Bushel Measure  
  2.  turns like the hand of a clock measuring time  
  3.  although no punctuating tick or tock  
  4.  notches its arc, sunset to sunrise. 
  5.   
  6.  Its handle divides the year into seasons,  
  7.  pointing towards earth at dusk in autumn,  
  8.  upward at dusk in spring, in winter  
  9.  twilight west, in summer east. 
  10.   
  11.  And so it is and was and shall be  
  12.  but not world without end (and neither  
  13.  was it so from the worldΓÇÖs beginning).
